Step into the gentle, resonant world of sound. In this three-hour beginner's immersion, you are invited to begin a luminous journey of self-connection through vibration and resonance.

This introduction is designed for those who are new to sound journeys and want to weave simple sound practices into their daily lives. Together, we will explore how instruments like Himalayan singing bowls, bells, tingshas, and chimes can become supportive companions — opening pathways to calm, clarity, emotional presence, and inner harmony.

What to Expect:

➡️ Foundational Guidance: You'll be gently guided through the essentials of using sound as a personal meditative practice. No musical skill or training is required — just curiosity and an open heart.

➡️ Instrument Exploration: You'll have the opportunity to practice with a variety of instruments, including bowls, bells, tingshas, and chimes, and learn simple ways to integrate their soothing tones into your personal rituals.

➡️ Developing Your Relationship With Sound: This course focuses on cultivating your personal connection with sound rather than practicing on others. You'll leave with tools you can begin using immediately.

➡️ Instruments Available: Instruments will be available to use during the session. You may also place orders to purchase instruments the same day, with delivery available in two weeks before or after a Sunday sound bath at the studio once payment is received.

Legal Disclaimer & Waiver

1. Voluntary Participation & Assumption of Risk You are voluntarily participating in sound journeys, group gatherings, and wellness activities. You understand that these activities involve inherent risks and you voluntarily assume all risks associated with your participation.

2. Health Disclosure You confirm that you have disclosed all relevant health conditions, medications, and contraindications to the facilitator. You understand that it is your responsibility to inform the facilitator of any changes to your health status. You agree to attend all events sober and free from the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs, or any substances that may impair your judgment or ability to participate safely.

3. Medical Disclaimer Sound journeys and wellness services are not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment. These services are complementary practices and do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or mental health condition. You should consult with a qualified healthcare provider before participating if you have any health concerns.

4. Personal Practice Disclaimer This course is designed for personal exploration and self-practice only. Participants are learning to work with sound for their own well-being and personal growth. This training does not certify, qualify, or authorize participants to practice sound work professionally on others. If you wish to offer sound sessions to others, additional training, mentorship, and professional development are required.

10. No Guaranteed Results You understand that results from sound journeys and wellness practices vary by individual and no specific outcomes are guaranteed.

11. Group Session Suitability You understand that group sessions are designed for general wellness and may not be appropriate for individuals requiring intensive individual support. Some situations are better addressed in private one-on-one sessions rather than large group settings.

Sound Bath Contraindications

Please carefully review the following contraindications before registering. If any apply to you, please contact us to discuss whether participation is appropriate or if modifications can be made.

Do Not Attend If You Have:

  • First trimester pregnancy - Sound frequencies may not be suitable during early pregnancy

  • Sound-sensitive epilepsy or seizure disorders - Certain frequencies and vibrations may trigger episodes

  • Meniere's disease or severe tinnitus - Sound journeys may exacerbate symptoms

  • Recent concussion or traumatic brain injury - The brain needs time to heal before exposure to intense sound frequencies

  • Metal implants, pacemakers, or sound-sensitive medical devices near the head or ears - Vibrations may interfere with device function

  • Severe psychiatric conditions or experiencing intense mental imbalance - Group sound sessions may be overwhelming or destabilizing

  • Active psychosis, severe dissociation, or acute mental health crisis - These conditions require immediate professional mental health support, not group wellness activities

Situations Better Suited for Private Sessions:

If you require individual attention, support, or guidance during and after the session, a group setting may not be ideal or appropriate. Group sessions are designed for participants who can self-regulate and integrate the experience independently.

Consider booking a private one-on-one session if you:

  • Are processing significant trauma or grief

  • Need personalized support or modifications

  • Require ongoing check-ins during the session

  • Feel vulnerable in group settings

  • Are new to sound journeys and want individualized guidance

When in Doubt: If you are unsure whether a group session is right for you, please contact us before registering. We are happy to discuss your needs and recommend the most appropriate format for your healing journey.
